Painted No Sew Market Tote

Create a cute and colorful “no sew” beach or market tote using dyes as paint on basic white t-shirt.

How to Make a Fox and Cottage Night Light

I think everyone I know bought a set of those woodland creature plastic eggs from Target this year. I was tempted to buy two. East might be over, but that does not mean Mr. Fox needs to go in the attic for a year. Instead I decided to build him a cozy moss cottage and have him 'light' up my life year round.

Watermelon Tablecloth from Apple Stamps

A long-time warm-weather classic, nothing screams SUMMER like a big cold slice of watermelon on a hot day. Watermelon motifs are becoming especially popular this year, popping up on everything from shoes to hair accessories to fingernails. This summer will be all watermelon all the time.

Let’s hop on this trend with Tulip fabric paint and a helpful hand from another fruity friend from the kitchen – an apple!

This project is kid-friendly, inexpensive, and can easily be accomplished in under an hour (plus drying time). Let’s get started!

DIY - Faux Cross Stitched Shirt

I am so excited about this tutorial because I have never done any kind of cross stitching in my entire life. I know we can all shake our heads at me. I should be ashamed of myself, haha!  I like to figure out different ways to RE-CREATE things, so I thought it would be cool to show you a quick modern take on cross stitching. Don't worry, it's super easy and I know you will have fun with it.
P.S. I am doing a number in this tutorial however you can create any image you would like since the technique is mainly what I am showing you today.

Sweet Chambray Sneakers Tutorial

I love sneakers and the cheaper the better, I say. Since I go through shoes hard and fast there is no reason to spend 50 bucks on a pair of name brand sneaks that are going to be hitting pavement so hard that they are worn out in a month or so. And when I saw these cheapies over at Wal-Mart for less than $6, I knew just what to do!

Funny Bunny Easter Egg Craft

I love making cute crafts for kids and giving inanimate objects life!  When I saw this pink plastic Easter egg, I immediately envisioned an adorable Easter bunny. This is a great project for the little ones, but they made need some help from Mom or Dad to do some of the fine details like cutting!

Tie Dye Dream Pillow

April is supposedly the rainy and cloudy month, but it has been pretty nice so far in my neck of the woods and I am no going to complain. The cloud on the pillow I have created and am sharing with you today is not worth complaining over either. Actually it is quite cute and super soft!

Tie Dyed Fringe Dress, DIY.

Fringe seems to be  all the rage right now,
so I thought I could DIY a fringe dress out of two T-shirts
and add a little color with Tulip One step Tie Dye.

Yarn Wrapped Boho Succulent Planters

Air plants and succulents are hot. White hot. A quick glance through Pinterest and you are sure to spot a cluster of hanging glass globes with a wee little plant inside. I too love the trend. So much so that I decided to customize my planters. Bust out the yarn and Tacky Glue and let's get started.

Modern Home Decor Projects

If you've ever thought about adding a few little stylish touches to a room or, heaven forbid, decide to overhaul the design completely, you know how expensive those little details can be. Rugs can cost you nearly a thousand dollars! Napkins ten bucks apiece! It's just crazy how much can be saved by going the route of DIY! And if you think handmade always equals handmade ugly, I've got a couple of projects that just might change your mind!

How to make a Leather Tribal Phone Case

It's almost summertime and we all love sporting fashionable patterns, right! I know I do! Lately I have been searching for the "perfect" phone case which can be difficult at times. My phone is a part of me 24-7 and when it doesn't feel like it goes with me I freak! Well not really but you get my point. I decided to create my own leather phone case and put all of my energy into the design. So now when my phone is in my hands or on my ear it will look just as cute at the shirt and shoes I am wearing!

The Cat and the Canary No Sew Applique Pillow Tutorial

My sister and I are both undergoing some big changes in our home decor. We have enlisted the help of our father who is going to be building headboards and installing cabinets and a whole shebang of big time DIY. And since I can't just sit on the sidelines holding the tool bucket, I'm making pillows!

In this tutorial I'm going to show you how to make the no sew appliques that can be applied to pre-made pillow covers. If you're of the frame of mind to bust out the sewing machine, though, I can show you how to make your own for tiny bucks. Either way you slice it, you'll have some super cute and one of a kind pillows.
